SCOLA products

The SCOLA system consists of the following devices:

SCOLA FLEX

Widex SCOLA flex listening device education
An FM receiver that is placed directly onto a behind-the-ear hearing aid, thereby providing a comprehensive solution. SCOLA FLEX can be used with all hearing aids, cochlear implants and bone-anchored hearing aids which have audio inputs. The functionality can be extended when used together with a Widex FM slide-on audio shoe which connects the FM receiver to the hearing aid. This eliminates the need to think about operations, as the settings are acquired automatically. SCOLA FLEX is for example the ideal solution for small children who like to fiddle with things.

SCOLA TEACH

Widex SCOLA teach listening device education
An FM transmitter that transmits speech or other audio signals, such as those from a television or MP3 player, to a SCOLA receiver or other FM receiver. SCOLA TEACH is typically used in teaching situations, where the teacher wears the SCOLA TEACH device.
SCOLA TEACH is available in two versions: SCOLA TEACH44 with and SCOLA TEACH33 without TeamTeaching. The TeamTeaching function is especially useful in teaching situations where several people are speaking and participating in the teaching. This requires an extra microphone, e.g. SCOLA TALK

SCOLA CLASSMATE

Widex SCOLA classmate listening device education
A supplement to the other SCOLA products which provides automatic tuning of the receiver channel on a SCOLA FLEX or SCOLA BUDDY device, e.g. when moving to another room. It is useful in schools where several pupils use SCOLA and have several FM transmitters in use simultaneously.

SCOLA BUDDY

Widex SCOLA buddy listening device education
An FM receiver which is worn around the neck. It can be used with any hearing aids, cochlear implants or bone-anchored hearing aids, as long as they are equipped with a telecoil. The advantage is that you can turn it on and off and adjust the volume yourself, which makes SCOLA BUDDY suitable for older children and young people.

SCOLA TALK

Widex SCOLA talk listening device education
An FM transmitter that transmits speech or other audio signals, such as those from a television or MP3 player, to a SCOLA receiver or other FM receiver. We recommend SCOLA TALK primarily for personal use by young people and adults in teaching and working situations. SCOLA TALK is equipped with a microphone system with five microphones, which makes it possible to choose between different settings, so that you can for example listen to a group conversation, or choose to focus on a single speaker. SCOLA TALK can also be used as a microphone with SCOLA TEACH in connection with TeamTeaching.
